SUB-SURFACE PREPARATION OF HORSE STALLS For maximum effectiveness sub-surface preparation is extremely important. Frelonic horse stall mats can be placed over concrete, wood, asphalt or crushed stone. A crush stone base should comprise of 1/4' stone in size and be approximately 3-6 inches deep. The crush stone base should exclude any dirt. Surface must be compacted and leveled. Once completed, your Frelonic lightweight interlocking mats can be immediately installed.
INSTALLATION OF MATS IN HORSE STALLS Frelonic interlocking stable mats are simple to install. Each 4' x 6' mat weighs only 30 pounds compared to rubber which weighs 100 pounds. Frelonic mats come pre-packaged for both 12' x 12' and 10' x 12' foot stalls. Each set is designed to allow ½' between stall walls and edges of stall mats.
